What Was The ‘Paleo Diet? ‘ There Was Far More Than One, Study Suggests

The study found that compared to a control diet, a Paleolithic diet resulted in significant reductions in body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and fasting glucose levels. Additionally, the Paleolithic diet resulted in significant increases in HDL cholesterol levels. However, the study noted that there were limitations in the number and quality of trials, and further research is needed to confirm these findings.

Overall, the study suggests that a Paleolithic diet may be effective in reducing cardiovascular disease risk factors, although more research is needed to fully understand its potential benefits and limitations.
