Animal agriculture has been linked to greenhouse gas emissions, land degradation, and water pollution, so reducing or eliminating animal products from one’s diet can help reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact. Additionally, some people choose vegan or vegetarian diets for ethical reasons, such as concerns about animal welfare or the exploitation of animals for food.

Ultimately, the decision to follow a vegan or vegetarian diet is a personal one, and should take into account individual health needs, cultural and social factors, and personal beliefs and values. It’s important to make informed choices and seek advice from a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian to ensure that the diet is nutritionally adequate.
