Diabetes, cancer, heart disease, obesity and kidney disease – to name a few.

But how is this possible?

How can a product with 0 calories be so bad for you and be linked to so many major health problems?

Because calories are just a unit of measurement for energy. There is a lot more to it.

Ads marketing us 0 calorie soft drinks do not and will not ever share the truth with you.

At a low level, you are poisoning yourself.

Yes, I said it, it’s poison.

Would you drink Cyanide if it tasted amazing, was calorie free and your expectation was to lose weight?

I don’t think so.

Why?

Because Cyanide is poison.

All you have to do it google the ingredients, specifically sweeteners, in these so called ‘diet’ beverages to understand it’s not good for you.

Lets take Aspartame for example.

Commonly found in diet coke and pepsi max.

Dozens of studies have linked aspartame, the world’s most widely used artificial sweetener. to serious health problems, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease, seizures, stroke and dementia, as well as negative effects such as intestinal dysbiosis, mood disorders, headaches and migraines.

But if that’s not enough for you.

Artificial sweeteners consumed regularly can greatly damage and in some cases ruin your gut health, specifically the good bacteria. Here’s a reminder on the importance togut health.

So if you are someone trying to make some healthy changes. That’s great, you rock.

But if you cannot accept that fact that some of the market leading ‘calorie free soft drinks’ are low level poisons then you may never reach optimal health.

You have to start by drastically reducing your intake of these beverages before you even focus on the foods you eat, the amount of movement you do etc.
